DOCUMENTING REAL LIFE, REAL PEOPLE, REAL STORIES.

Yes I’m one of those documentary wedding photographers you’ve heard about, but, surprise! I am actually a real documentary photographer too and in my time covering public events, rallies, protests, gigs and social documentary work, I’ve fallen down a manhole, fallen off walls, threatened with violence, been given a police caution, had my trousers torn and a Cornish pastie thrown at me, all perfect grounding for a wedding photographer. I also shoot portraits too!

When you book me for your special day, I aim to capture the day exactly as you remember it, nothing fake, nothing stiff, just real life, minus the cheesy posing (I hate cheese).

I want my images to feel like you’re stepping back into the moment - hearing the laughter, feeling the buzz, soaking up the chaos and joy of your wedding day. My mission is simple: to remind you how special your day was and how much fun you, your family, and your friends had.

I keep things super chilled when I shoot. It’s your day, not a photoshoot marathon, so I let everything unfold naturally and capture all the magic as it happens.

My job? Stay switched on and ready for everything - happy tears, wild dance moves, quiet moments, and all the beautiful madness that makes a wedding day unforgettable.

I like to make group shots a breeze. When we do them, they’re quick, informal, and actually fun. I’m totally cool with doing a few (about eight is the sweet spot) and we’ll blast through them as quick as possible so it doesn’t take over your day.

The only moment I’ll steal is when I take you away for a few relaxed, simple, stylish portraits - nothing awkward, nothing drawn out. Then you’re free to dive straight back into the party where the real memories are happening.
